Thanks to Fanshawe College I no longer need to leave London to attend a thought-provoking marketing conference. Their 2011 eMarketing Conference was my first, but it definitely won't be my last. In my opinion, the speaker line-up was stellar and the content delivered was comprehensive. And with a diverse selection of concurrent streams, finding an interesting (and insightful) session to attend was easy.

The eMarketing conference is the regions best conference on digital media for those working in the marketing industry. The Lawrence Kinlin School of Business brings together the industry's brightest minds like Avinash Kaushik and Bryan Eisenberg and combines them with great local talent to provide an invaluable experience.

The eMarketing Conference was tremendous last year. Whether you have extensive background or little to no background, the program can be tailored to your needs. It was one of those events where you return to work with a host of ideas, new techniques and strategies that you can implement immediately. Based on the conference last year we completely re-vamped our web-strategies. Best of all, we were able to do it with an almost non-existent budget. Furthermore, the quality of the food closely rivalled the quality of the workshops.

Great insights into the e-marketing world! As a small business with limited resources, we have gained invaluable contacts and information. Attending the e-marketing conference allowed us to create an effective internet strategy. As a result, our online sales have increased significantly over a six month period.

I've attended internet marketing conferences in Los Angeles, NYC and Toronto and I have to say that the Fanshawe eMarketing conference is just as good as these big city counterparts. The speakers are top notch (does it get better than Avinash Kaushik?), and I've always left with solid knowledge that I can apply directly to my work. Best of all, it takes place in our own backyard!
